Beef fried rice with basil leaves

Beef fried rice with basil leaves

Ever get too busy to think about dinner until before you know it you’re stomach is sending you all sorts of “feed me” signals? I know I’ve been guilty of this many a time, especially with the busy life us mum’s lead. With that in mind, I wanted to share a few recipes which are relatively quick and simple whilst also tasting delicious!

This dish is yummy, morish and so easy to cook!

Beef fried rice with basil leaves:

Oil
Garlic
Chili
Minced beef (easily replaced with Quorn mince for the vegetarians out there)
Fish sauce
Sugar (packed brown sugar works best)
Light soy sauce
Boiled rice
Onion
Basil leaves (or dried basil if you don’t have fresh to hand)
Optional: Chili (powder or fresh)

Fry beef, add flavourings according to taste, when cooked mix with cooked rice, finally add raw or half cooked onion, and finally basil leaves (lots!) –

Enjoy!
